If Microsoft was able to match the offer, I absolutely would have stayed.

In short, I thought about

1. Am I going to learn more from the engineers making this move?

2. The next opportunity will already promote me. Is it really worth hoping my current role will promote me this cycle?

3. Am I interested in the engineering culture?
